This series of documentaries gives unprecedented access to life behind the scenes at one of America's major zoos, in Houston, Texas. This is a world the public don't usually get to see - what goes on before the visitors arrive and after they have gone, what happens when animals are sick or giving birth, when new ones arrive, and all the work that goes into keeping the animals healthy and happy and the visitors entertained and informed.
