Hosted by Tony Jones, Q&A encourages Australians to engage, form, consider and express opinions on topical issues. The program has introduced a new form of interactive discussion to Australian television audiences and proved that they are keen to watch and engage in lively, wide-ranging and intelligent debates. Q&A brings opinion leaders into the ABC to face public questioning and debate and discuss a wide range of issues live to air. The program's success has been built on heightened political interest and engagement, refined panel selection and the integration of TV and twitter to provide not only increased interactivity but also emphasise Q&A as interactive live "event" TV. Australia Network audiences can watch on TV, stream via our website and join the concurrent Twitter debate every Monday evening.
