Cooking competitions don't get any hotter than this as eight contenders from across the country compete against each other for the title of ultimate BBQ Champ. The contestants will be sweating over the coals to prove themselves in a series of tough challenges, creating mouth-watering BBQ masterpieces and reinventing culinary classics especially for the grill as well as learning the skills of mass catering. They'll have to be both original and consistent to impress the judges. Unlike any other cookery show, the BBQ chefs will have the added complications of cooking outside as they struggle to keep organised and cope with the unpredictable weather. The steaks are high as one disappointed cook will be sent home each week until the judges announce who is the master of the grill and will take home the cash prize.
