Mary includes the viewers in her everyday decision-making – What shoes should I wear? Who will I play with today? Mary thinks up various possibilities before making a choice. The series is designed to show that we can have more than one optionin each situation.
This series is designed to encourage the viewer to realize that a situation may have / offer many possibilities / options. For the younger age group this series identifies objects graphically and clearly by naming them.
Create an opportunity for your child to make a decision – to pick one of two shirts to wear, to pick one of a few toys to play with, to pick out one book to read. Choosing instills a sense of independence and encourages your child to make his/her own decisions.
