Mekong: Soul of a River is a four-part documentary series created and produced by Joseph Pontecorvo for Animal Planet and Discovery HD that explores the people and wildlife that depend upon Asia's most enigmatic river for their survival.
The series premiered in South Africa on DStv's Animal Planet channel on Friday 4 July 2008, at 14h15. There are four 60-minute episodes in the series.
