My Kitchen Rules is an Australian competitive cooking game show broadcast on the Seven Network. The series is produced by the team who created the Seven reality show My Restaurant Rules, and was put into production based on the success of Network Ten's MasterChef Australia.The show sees five teams of two, each representing the states of New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland (and, from Season 2 onwards, Tasmania, and in Season 3, a team from New Zealand) competing against each other to "transform an ordinary home into an instant restaurant complete with theme and table decorations for one pressure-cooker night".Each episode will focus on one team's day of cooking and serving a three course dinner for the judges and their opposing teams. After all the teams have been assessed, the team with the lowest score will be eliminated. This process is then repeated with the remaining teams until two teams remain, where both of them will compete for the final time to win the series, with a prize bond of $100,000(season 3 had a prize of $250,000).Once the three-course dish is served to the other teams and judges; Pete Evans and Manu Feildel, they must rate the dishes out of ten.
