American designer, Ty Pennington, has transformed many dilapidated houses across the world. Now, he's taking his expertise to the UK to help transform the homes of soldiers and their families. He improves the homes of five heroes who have worked in some of the world's most hostile environments. In Ty Pennington’s Homes For The Brave, the larger-than-life presenter must revamp and redesign homes to meet the needs of soldiers who’ve recently returned from duty. Featuring in the series are Danny and Emma, who both serve full time in the British army despite having four children. With their house neglected due to tours of duty and parenthood, Ty comes to the rescue to transform their three bedrooms – with a little help from some of the troops. Ty and his team also offer their expertise to Kate, the first woman amputee who has recently moved into her own house but needs a little help with colour and design inspiration. Ty has taken on many different tasks in his time, but this could be his most challenging yet – not just physically, but emotionally as well.
